Automation of tax reports generation according to the SAF-T UA standard based on Business Central

SMART SAF-T for Ukraine is a solution for automating the generation of tax reports according to the SAF-T UA standard, integrated with the Business Central system and the SMART Accounting for Ukraine app, simplifying the collection, checking, processing, and uploading of data and minimizing the risk of errors. Automated checks for compliance with requirements ensure the submission of correct reports, reduce costs, and increase the efficiency of accounting and financial processes.

  • Compliance with the requirements of the State Tax Service (STS): the solution fully complies with the system requirements for reporting through the E-cabinet and the XSD diagram published on the STS website, which ensures the relevance of the format for Ukrainian enterprises.

  • Automated checks before downloading: the solution has built-in checks at each stage of working with data: from creating directory cards to downloading in XML.

  • Control of compliance with requirements: after the check is complete, the system will not allow you to download a file with identified discrepancies, which additionally prevents the submission of incorrect reports.
  • File monitoring: the system tracks all actions related to the file: logs, checks and changes made by users.

An additional benefit of the solution is easy integration with other Microsoft technologies, which allows you to manage key business processes from a single platform, scale development strategies and minimize technical difficulties and financial costs.

Functional capabilities:
  • General system settings allow you to select the file generation version, the default directory element value, configure checks for system master data, select default document types, configure tables for data preview before file export.
  • File export settings allow you to set data upload parameters, frequency, file format, and take into account the maximum file size restrictions.
  • Mapping of G/L accounts with standard accounts is performed to compare the enterprise Chart of Accounts with the Standard Chart of Accounts approved by the order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated 30.11.1999 No. 291.
  • Checking the correctness of file generation and filling in directories consists of several stages:
    1. Checking directories in the process of creating cards and editing them. When closing the directory card, the system will display the fields that are required according to SAF-T UA and will offer to fill them in.
    2. Table checks at preview – data in tables is displayed taking into account the element types, character limits, and the “Required” flag for data transfer.
    3. Data check before file export. By clicking on an error, you can open the directory and add data.
    4. Checking compliance with SAF-T UA requirements during export to XML for critical errors that affect the file check by the STS.

  • Generation of the SAF-T UA audit file: export in XML format.
